Ann Hupp Drives Capitol Office Solutions Business in the Valley
WINCHESTER, VA, Nov. 9 – Ann Hupp, a resident of Frederick County, Virginia for 16 years, is the driving force behind Capitol Office Solutions (COS) success in the Shenandoah Valley. “I was thrilled when Capitol offered me an opportunity to run the new office in Winchester,” said Ms. Hupp. “Knowing the area and the wonderful people here is a tremendous advantage. I was hired to expand the business west of Leesburg and hope to extend our reach to Hagerstown, Maryland.”
Capitol Office Solutions is a Global Imaging Systems partner based out of Beltsville, Maryland. The new Winchester office is located at 1822 Roberts Street.
“Ann’s determination, work ethic and community involvement are just a few of the reasons she was selected to run our Winchester office,” said Steve Rolla, president of Capitol. “We expect to become the market leader in document processing solutions, and are very excited about our Device Independent Printing program, where we can save companies up to 30% per month in printing and copying expenses.”
Ms. Hupp and COS will showcase the concept at its Fall Technology Forum, to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 16 at the Piccadilly Brew Pub Banquet Room in Winchester. “It’s part of our grand opening and customer appreciation, where we will be showcasing a variety of office equipment and document management technology,” said Kevin Hoverman, Virginia Branch Manager for Capitol Office Solutions. “Ann has over 10 years experience in the industry, has developed a very good customer base and has a reputation as someone who cares about her customers. We were looking for someone who was an active member of the community and we are pleased to have found Ann.”
“I love the Winchester-Frederick County area. My son, Stuart attends Admiral Byrd Middle School,” said Hupp. “I’m a proud member and former President of the Winchester Exchange Club and served on the board of the Child Parent Center. Ten years ago I co-founded the Exchange Club’s Chili Challenge, which has raised more than $100,000 for the CPC. Good business relationships are easy to have in a community such as Winchester because 9 times out of 10 the client has community involvement themselves!”
Capitol serves the mid-market customer with its office equipment products. “We discuss solutions with anyone, but our business model is to target companies using 1 to 100 machines,” said Ms. Hupp. “We offer Canon, Kyocera and Konica Minolta products, and also service HP printers.”
